Warranty terms & conditions
- Equipment sold by Restalaite have a one (1) year warranty from the date of the invoice. Warranty
covers material and construction flaws. Warranty is applied only to equipment sold to the first
buyer.
- The warranty only applies to the units that have been used in conditions that can be deemed
normal and used in a proper way and has been maintained carefully and regularly as explained in
the user manual.
- Warranty does not apply to flaws & errors that have been caused by:
Delivery of the equipment, incorrect usage, carelessness of the user or overload of the equipment,
neglect of the daily maintenance and care as specified in the manual, as well as conditions separate
from Restalaite Oy, such as power supply voltage fluctuation, fire, incorrect connections,
vandalism, maintenance, repairs, or changes made by other than authorized service partners,
incorrect installation or location as specified in the installation, user manual or other guidelines.
- The warranty does not cover damage that is inconsequential to the use of the equipment such as
scratching of the surface, adjusting the settings of the equipment, user guidance visits, cleaning
procedures, flaws that are caused by impurities in the steam or water mains in the premises or
flaws that are caused by negligence of installation or safety regulations or the investigation of these
in the premises. Warranty does not cover parts that wear naturally in use over time, such as lights,
seals, probes and moving plastic parts.
- Warranty does not cover possible costs or unrealized profits, or other indirect costs caused by
stoppages of operation.
- Repairs under warranty are primarily done on weekdays on normal operating hours. Warranty does
not cover extra costs caused by overtime or work on weekends.
- The validity of the warranty must be proved by the party claiming warranty when asked to do so.
- Service claims under warranty must be presented to the Restalaite Oy service without delay.
Restalaite Oy determines the authorized service company on each equipment. Equipment that has
been fixed to the kitchen or are otherwise difficult to move, are serviced in the customers
premises. Equipment that are light and easy to transport must be delivered to the service location
appointed by Restalaite Oy by the buyer with their own cost and responsibility. Serviced equipment
are to be picked up by the customer or delivered by the customers expense, with the forwarding
method of their choice.
